Sumegh had a humble beginning in 2007. Our Founder, Mr. Megh KC, started the company with the aim to make domestic and international air ticketing service affordable and accessible to travelers.
In time, and with experience Sumegh identified the gap in the industry, between demand and supply. Clients weren’t receiving value for their money, expertise was missing, and customer service was severely lacking. Sumegh stepped up to bridge the gap!
By 2013, Sumegh had become a trusted name between industry giants as well as intrepid travelers. Our unwavering commitment to excellent customer service, smooth and prompt performance, and dedication towards our stakeholders was not unnoticed.
Over the years, Sumegh became the authorized sales agents for airlines like SilkAir, Singapore Air, Dragon Air/Cathay Pacific-Airways, Korean Air, Nepal Airlines, and Etihad Air. It also partnered up with domestic carriers like Buddha Airlines and Yeti Airlines. Sumegh has also received several prestigious awards in travel, tourism and ticketing throughout the years.
Sumegh became a pioneer in Nepal’s travel industry for introducing Soto paper fare tickets in Nepal, and leading the industry to the digital era of OTAs and e-tickets.
In 2019, we introduced our international branch, ESumegh!
On 26 September 2019, Sumegh also became the first organization in Nepal to officially start chartered flights to Narita Airport in Japan. Since then, it has successfully conducted several chartered flights to Japan and from Australia.
Starting 2023, Sumegh has taken a big step towards the future of travel by exploring the digital era. It has plans to step into the world of Online Travel Agency (OTA). Collaborations with Esewa are underway.
