Day 1: Arrival in Nepalgunj

Your journey commences as you arrive at Nepalgunj Airport. After your arrival, you’ll check in at your hotel, offering a moment to relax and unwind after your travels. Optionally, you can explore the local market or simply enjoy a leisurely evening. Your overnight stay will be in Nepalgunj.

Day 2: Nepalgunj to Surkhet

Following breakfast, you’ll embark on a drive to Surkhet, a scenic journey lasting approximately 8-10 hours. Along the way, you have the chance to make stops at places like Kalikot for sightseeing and photography, adding a touch of adventure to your day. Upon reaching Surkhet, you’ll check in at your hotel and take the time to relax. Your overnight stay awaits in Surkhet.

Day 3: Surkhet to Jumla

Today’s adventure entails a drive from Surkhet to Jumla, encompassing roughly 8-10 hours. The journey meanders through picturesque hills, offering breathtaking views. Upon arriving in Jumla, you’ll check in at your hotel and have the option to explore the local market or visit the Rara Lake National Park office to arrange your visit to Rara Lake. Your overnight stay will be in Jumla.

Day 4: Jumla to Rara Lake

Your trek to Rara Lake begins, and this leg of the journey typically spans 5-6 hours. You’ll traverse the Rara Lake National Park, savoring the picturesque landscapes. Upon reaching Rara Lake, you’ll have the day to explore its serene beauty. You can choose to camp or stay in a guesthouse near the lake, ensuring you’re immersed in the tranquility of the surroundings.

Day 5: Rara Lake Exploration

Today is dedicated to exploring Rara Lake and its enchanting surroundings. You have the option to hike around the lake, visit nearby villages, or simply relax by the pristine waters, allowing you to fully embrace the natural beauty of the area. Your overnight stay is in close proximity to Rara Lake.

Day 6: Rara Lake to Jumla

The day commences with a trek back to Jumla, a journey lasting approximately 5-6 hours. Upon your return, you’ll check in at your hotel in Jumla and take some time to unwind. You can explore the town and immerse yourself in its cultural aspects, rounding off your day with an overnight stay in Jumla.

Day 7: Departure from Jumla

Following breakfast, you’ll drive back to Nepalgunj, where you can catch your flight to your next destination or connect to your international flight. This marks the conclusion of your memorable journey through Nepal’s picturesque landscapes.

Day 8: Departure

On your final day, you have two options: you can either drive back to Kathmandu or opt for a flight from Bharatpur, Chitwan, to Kathmandu. Depending on your departure time, you might have some free time for last-minute shopping or additional sightseeing. Ultimately, you’ll bid farewell to Nepal as you depart from the Tribhuvan International Airport or your respective departure point.
